Yesterday a two-day Government's visit to the Gorenjska region started in Škofja Loka. The Prime Minister Alenka Bratušek together with the Minister of Infrastructure and Spatial Planning Samo Omerzel visited the construction site of the Škofja Loka bypass, where DRI performs consulting and engineering services.

According to the responsible supervisor Luka Brenk, the works on this - currently the largest investment by the Slovenian Road Agency - are progressing in accordance with the time schedule. After a long interruption due to the replacement of the contractor, the works started again at the end of January.

This long-awaited bypass, expected to be completed in August 2015, will replace the section of the existing regional road and thus ease the traffic burden from the Škofja Loka old town centre through which all transit transport runs now.
