Railway infrastructure Access roads

26 access roads with a total length of 18.55 km are being built on the route of the second track of the Divača-Koper railway line. They are intended for the access to construction sites of tunnel portals and other construction sites on the route. Once the construction of the second track has been completed, the roads will be handed over to local communities for their own use.

The viaduct under Nasirec village is the only viaduct on the Slovenian part of the former Hrpelje-Kozina-Trieste line, which was built at the end of the 19th century and abolished in 1959. Once the second track has been completed, the route will again be used as a cycling and walking path.
